OK, since the 1911 mags group buy went so well, and since I need CR123's, I thought I'd arrange a group buy.

From here and CandlePowerForums, I've decided to try http://www.amondotech.com.

They sell Titanium branded CR123's in 1, 2, or 3 packs. The idea beinfg that you do NOT want to put a new CR123 and an old CR123 in the same battery.

Anyway, their prices are $1 for single, $2 for double, and $3 for Triple stacked inseparable batteries.

As an example, I am going to order 4 sets of double stacked batteries ($8.00) If I assume that 5 other people will want in and check shipping it's between $11 and $16 for 48 batteries. That's ~$0.25 a battery so you're looking at a price of $1.25 per battery. Still better than $1.75 for other brands.

but since I just got some recently (Duracell and something else so I can get an idea on comparison), count me in for 2 double packs. (but if you need to round out numbers, I could do 4 packs easily too.)

Also look at battery station .com, they sell to CPF'rs for 1 buck each and they have cheaper shipping too. .. ..
