Anybody else looking for speedloaders for a J-frame? Unlike the HKS brand, I can't find the Safariland ones in stores. I got some online for my 6-shooter and I like 'em, so now I want a couple for the 5-shooter but buying 1 or 2 the shipping is silly.

It's the Comp I, model J-C7. Officially good for S&W J-frames & Charter Arms, said to work for Taurus and Ruger SP101 too.

At Brownell's (where, I hear, some people get a discount), they're $14.35.

A guy on eBay has 4 available at 14.95 'buy-it-now'.

Sportsman's Guide has them for $11.97.

Midway has 4 available at $8.99.

I've seen them in the $9 range at a couple places that all seem to be out of stock at the moment.

The price you end up paying for a small cheap item like this depends tremendously on shipping, which is why I thought a group buy would be cool.

FWIW: $8.61 @ Brownells. I bought a couple recently but haven't gotten them yet.

I just picked one up at Midway...along with a bunch of other stuff I needed/wanted. After playing with it a bit, I really like it and would get a few more.

Brownells is as already stated $8.61 plus shipping of $4.25 upto 13ozs or $9.25 for whatever amount.

Looking at Brownells website the factory has dropped the GP100s

Dealer cost at Brownells -

Quote:
797-200-007
Fits Smith & Wesson "J" , .38 Spl., .357 Mag. $8.61

Plus shipping.

I may be interested in 1 or maybe 2 if you would like to split shipping and I can deliver at the Faribault IDPA on Wednesday night.

The $6 in gas may offset the 7.95 in shipping but not the time in transit nor the ~$3.34 ea price difference.

I'm in for 2 if someone is willing to do the Dealer pricing thing on Brownells.

No, shipping fo 2 of the speed loaders would only be $4.25 for first class mail from Brownells and I don't have to leave my desk chair to order them. With Brownells being in Iowa, I have had several orders delivered to me within 48 hours.

Cobb / Pat:

I would be interested in 2. Delivery at the Faribo IDPA. No hurry.

Just ran the numbers on Brownell's web site. Shipping for up to 8 speed loaders would be $4.25, for 9 or more it goes to $9.25.
