Any additional info on this Ammo would be great.
I started buying this at the Apple valley Walmart store several weeks ago for $11.00 a box of 50.
Just picked up another case as it was sitting on the floor ready to be shelved.
I have been looking it up on the net ever since.
All I see is good reports as if it's as good as any decent HP ammo.
$11.00 a box is what you pay for practice ammo from what I usually pay for .40 Cal ammo.
What gives :?:
I must be missing something.
OK besides a few hundo's from the wallet.

Since this was posted I've been trying to find an article I read but alas, it's gone. The author made a pretty good argument against shooting 180 grain bullets in a .40. I know it sounded reasonable to me and I haven't used any in my 40.

Yes, I have heard both. Don't use heavy. Don't use light. Go figure.
I think a .40 is good as long as you use a known brand name ammo.
People are killed with a lot less.
This stuff comes outa my glock at over 1,000 pfs and expands good.

Is that WWB or Winchester white box?

A FAR better round for actual carry is the winchester ranger ammo that is showing up at Cabela's and CDNN for about 12 50 a box. This is the HOT stuff. and it has a very good reputation for putting people down when it hits. I know someone who has carried it A-stan (he works for the state dept and does not have to abide by ball only ammunition rules.) who says it works like a charm. Texas SP and Homeland Security are using it as well. I have used several boxes and I like it, fast, clean and accurate.

an insanely long link, but the price was in a recent flyer as 12 49/box
