Count me in as well, Joel you do realize that is the "designated" day of the month for the December TCC breakfast.
No, I didn't -- if I had, I would have suggested it to start off with; it's a chance for those interested to talk about some stuff in advance, face to face.

One a location is established, we can work on finding a place for breakfast somewere in the area.

Funny, in your avatar you don't LOOK like a frat boy!

Ask Rothman - where do you think he held his on-campus carry class?

Heh. Frat house, scuba shop, jury room, convenience store, and next week right here at work. I do have classes in some...unique locations.

December 16th it is. More to come, probably next week, on where I think we should start. (Where we go, obviously, is up to the whole group.)

Sigh. I can read.

Think of my post as a nudge to the "group" to pick a location...

Where?

If not to far to the east or north, I might be able to come.

If Paul can drive all the way from Detroit Lakes, don't you think you could come, even if it's held as far away from Victoria as St. Paul? :)

well, actually I was trying to discretely nudge the thinking closer to the western side of town. Apparently not very discretely?

How about someplace really, really close to Bill's South?

So long as there is time to make fun with the bang switch, works for me.

I know Bill's North is not west and more North but I've found their lanes are not as jammed and they've been great when I've shot there ...

They are in the middle of nowhere though.

I guess if we got a group together we might be able to rent out the police bay at Bill's South.

I am going to Hawaii for a few weeks in December. I hope I get back in time to go, but it looks doubtful right now.

Bills north is not in the middle of nowhere, it is just down the road from my house. We are on the TOP of the twin cities.

I should be able to go pending son's hockey schedule.

Would this meeting be open to a non forum member? I have a long time friend/student who is interested in attending.

Just my .02 but I thought this get-together was about policy and legislation.

I'm not so much interested in a shooting outing. I already shoot once a week at BPR.

Anyone interested in gun rights is always welcome at any event.

I would agree, we need to determine the location of the meeting first; then if we would like to coordinate the brunch, and any other events in the same area, we should worry about it.

While I enjoy a good time (and agree with Joel, about making activism fun), we need to keep our eye on what the main event of the day is, IMHO.

That said, there are choices of shooting ranges in most directions, I'm sure once we have a location for "The New Thing", we will be able to set up something relatively close, to allow people interested in getting together to make things go bang.

I have the date marked on my calendar. Still tentative, too hard to predict what will happen that far out. But I will do what I can, to make it.
