It seems that there is a renewed interest in getting permits to carry since the election a few days ago, well I guess even before. My last few classes have been booked full and my 22 November class list already has 15 names on it.

So anyone else been getting more phone calls?

I've had 2 groups call for private classes, and my 12/6 class is looking like it will be full.

yes. Two groups talking "before inauguration", a big group this month and a couple of "couples" who haven't ever shot handguns wanting to get their permits before the end of the year.

Three private classes out of nowhere... all from referrals and all mentioned the election.

Not so much in the sticks. My Mpls classes are getting bigger, but outside of t he area in the Fargo-Moorhead area that is not the case. Everyone here already has a permit :)

Combined with a nationwide 17% increase in firearms/ammo sales...

Obama may be the best salesman for gun manufacturers ever!
