Hats off to Rep. Rosenthal for actually reading and considering the proposed legislation from other points of view. Rep. Rosenthal officially removed his name from the Bill today. I'm so proud of him.

That's good to hear.
I got the same response from Paymar.
I wrote him a nice letter, and told him among other things that since I use an SKS or an AK for hunting because they are inexpensive (at least when I bought them), accurate, and reliable- so hunters are affected. In my mind there is no distinction between a Remington and a surplus rifle.
