While reading the post about the Stillwater mayor, I clicked on a link that brought me here --> http://planecents.net/.

On his (one long) page he states:

Obama is in, we have no idea what will happen with carry. Get grand fathered in now by taking a course before he changes things!


Would this be true? Would there be a grandfathering in, or would our permits just become not valid?

Depends entirely on a: what the statute/Presidential order said, and b: what the courts say.

I wouldn't count on it.

That said, while I think things are dangerous, I don't think the sky is falling -- or that Penaz is right. Which is why I wrote an essay on the subject, some time ago.
