More-over how many crime convictions  Compel them to extrapolate that to dollar cost.

That's a VERY good point. And regardless of the nature of the arrests, how many convictions were they able to see through?

I'm willing to stretch and say that the label of "investigated" may mean just having a show on a list, and that the arrest count may have absolutely no relation to the show at all.
Let's play:
For sake of easy math (which seems to be the only type taught these days), let's say there were 25 gun shows in the Minneapolis metro last year. Let's say that there were 15,000 arrests made in the metro last year (yes, I know, that's even more amusing).
Oh my goodness, there were 600 arrests per gun show last year! Think of the children! The sky is falling! My head is up my ass and my proctologist is on vacation!
Remember, 87.59% of all statistics are pulled out of thin air. Just like that one.
