Read below. and understand the future price impact on ammo.

Please take a moment to note important changes set forth by the Defense Logistics Agency:

Recently it has been determined that fired munitions of all calibers, shapes and sizes have been designated to be Demil code B. As a result and in conjunction with DLA's current Demil code B policy, this notice will serve as official notification which requires Scrap Venture (SV) to implement mutilation as a condition of sale for all sales of fired munitions effective immediately. This notice also requires SV to immediately cease delivery of any fired munitions that have been recently sold or on active term contracts, unless the material has been mutilated prior to sale or SV personnel can attest to the mutilation after delivery. A certificate of destruction is required in either case.

Thank you,

They actually remanded this shortly after it was issued.

Proof? Look at this auction. Anyone up for a group buy?

I don't reload (yet), but I'd be in for 200 lbs. of 5.56. Gotta plan for the future!

Hell, I'd be delighted to pay $150 for that. BUT what's it gonna cost to ship?

And do mere peons like myself actually get to bid on these deals?

Looks like it a pick it up yourself deal. Anybody got a big dump truck?

Looks like there is some paperwork to fill out, but if you got the cash you can play. Oh, $150 is just the opening bid, I'm guessing that it will go around $1/lb.
