Actress Leona Hadey, who plays Sarah Connor:

"Shooting guns is not something I would do in my spare time. I really don't understand why Americans can purchase guns so easily and why they use them for sporting purposes."

Oh, well, she's still pretty hot. :)

If you want to talk hot English actresses, go with Kate Beckinsale.

Quote:
To her surprise and evident delight, though, this training revealed a hitherto undiscovered talent: Beckinsale is a genius with a gun. She was told by her trainers that she has huge hands for a woman so she didn't have the problems some women have with handling guns, such as loading and reloading. "It is awfully hard just reaching around some of these guns."

What Beckinsale is most proud of, however, is that she was able to play this character without sporting an accessory popular in action movies. Arnie, Keanu and Hugo might look very cool in sunglasses, but they wear them for another important reason, as Beckinsale discloses, "Even though you are firing blanks, the guns have a big kick sometimes, and you almost can't help flinching. But you can't have your action hero flinching all the time, can you?"

Being an actress, even an actress I enjoy watching, doesn't mean I care about her opinions in any way.

That's like voting based on Matt Damon's opinion.

Republican opponents are using the "guns and hunting" issue to raise money and marginalize Palin as sombody who "kills beautiful annimals for fun and shoots wolves from airplanes".

Opponents will call her a cultural oddball, out of touch with the modern world, killing, guns etc. That will sell in big urban areas where most folks don't hunt either because they don't want to or simply lack the opportunity and resources.

Her reponse will be important. People running for office usually fight to get to the middle of the room.

Hopefully she will defend and extol her activities, instead of downplaying them. It practically cries for her to say "Alaska is different than the lower 48, she doesn't shoot AK47's, people in cities don't "need" weapons, "reasonable laws to help police trace.....", ect.

But she doesn't mind making money off of gun "violence" does she? Another two faced liberal.
