What would you all recommend for a bedside holster? I'm looking for something for a revolver that I can some how either attach too, or hang from my bed frame or mattress.
Thanks

Bianchi makes some molded plastic holsters that are relatively inexpensive and might due the trick.
I use a Springfield Armory molded plastic that's like a yaquii slide holster. It works well for my 1911's

I just use my regular holster and put it under the pillow. Worked for twenty some years.

And I just slip my srigs quick clip(modified) between the mattress and the box spring.
If you want formed kydex its easy enough to make, but ...
Just put it between the mattress and box spring with the grip sticking out a bit. Working well for me so far.

Hmm, thanks for the idea. Been putting it in the open part of my night stand, it can be a reach.

I do the same thing with my backup carry gun in a Srigs Rough Out. Great minds think alike.

"how do you holster a bed?" - easy, you don't have to worry about a trigger guard!
"Aww - just drive a nail into the bedpost and hang your Glock by the trigger guard!" (just kidding! please don't do this...)
you could also tack a strip of old belt to the back (or front I guess) of the headboard and hang a clip holster on that.

My Safepacker works well for bedside duty. The flap slips under the mattress and you have an open top holster hanging right where it's easy to reach.
This method is one of many options outlined in the Safepacker literature.

Same deal - I use a SideGuard Holster's "Rough Out" for the bed.
Thanks again, Sgrigs! BTW - I swear your website looks better every day.

What, strapping on a 'clip on' holster to your skivvies won't work?
Seriously, what Srigs and someone else said.

It is my view that firearms should be located far enough away from the bed to ensure that the sleeper is fully awake before reaching them.

Mostly,
I have been doing this for over 25 years, yet to put a bullet in the wall, or worse, Its where it belongs as far as I am concerned.
It comes from waking up one night with someone standing in my room, who was not an invited or welcomed uninvited guest.

I used to agree, but two 5 year old boys in the equation change the formula a bit...I have the digital safe (that I can open in my sleep, no pun intended) under the bed. My expectation is that the two dogs (a shepherd and a pain-in-the-ass cocker) are enough of a 1st line of defense deterrent/wake up that I will have time to get to my pistol if needed.

Perfect; God I love dogs
