Post subject:  Need a good OWB holster with a cant?

I have been looking for a good OWB holster that has at least a 15 degree cant to it for my Taurus PT111 Pro for when I OC. I am looking for something leather and that has a thumb break on it! Anyone have any suggestions on where to find one or have pics of their setup? Thanks!

I always like to see what others use so pics are good! 8)

Try SGH http://www.sideguardholsters.com/

I love mine and ordered another for different gun.

Only down side is it may take awhile if he does not have any made for your gun.

SafariLand 328: Leather, thumbreak, pan-cake 3 slot. You can wear it straight vertical or with a 15* FBI cant. ~$58 last time I bought one at streichers.

Safariland apparently has no holsters for PT111s.

I have a PT111, and I like it in a pocket holster.

For OC, though, I don't think you can go wrong with this holster from GunMate (an Uncle Mike's brand). It's not leather, but Cordura. I have a couple, and they are durable and affordable. They can be worn on the left or right, and they are under $13.

I'm in the process of making The Slide for inventory without a thumb break in BK RH with 15 deg cant and 1.5" belt slots. I make my OWB holsters tight and I can make one with with a thumb break but would be 6 weeks (FIFO queue).

That would be great! Just to be sure, will it be fitted for a Taurus PT111 Millennium Pro model? I really can not find any that are made for the milPro's! Im not worried about the time frame, I have a IWB that will work fine for now! What would be the going price for something like that?

I will be sure and do that! I think that the PT140 is the same size, at least that is what says in my manual! I will be taking my CCW class on the 28th of this month now so, I dont really need it anytime soon. I justed wanted to get a head start so I can have a nice holster for when I get my permit back from the sheriffs office. I think right now the time is right about 30 days or so for permit release, so I dont need it til May or so! Thanks for the help! Look forward to doing business with ya! 8)

You might think about placing your order soon. Erik's lead times are 5 to 7 weeks. I think he is pretty busy right now. While someone unfamiliar with custom holster manufactureers may think thats a long time, it is nothing compared to most of the custom holster makers out there. I believe Cobb had one ordered that had an 18 month lead time or something like that.
