Anybody used it? If so, how do you like it? If not, is there something else you like and prefer to use? |

I have used Leather Lighting on my game holsters to speed them up, but not on my carry holsters, I prefer to keep their better boned retention. I quit using the Leather Lighting years ago because I think it is too expensive for what you get. I started using the Hyde Glyde from C. Rusty Sherrick instead, cheaper, more in a bottle and works every bit as good. I am on my third bottle of the Hyde Glyde and will buy a forth, I think it works very well in slicking up the inside of a holster. |

A quick and easy way is to use a little baby powder on the inside and swirl it around then dump it out. It will work well to get what you want done without wetting the leather at all. Hope that helps. |

Hope that helps. Really good tip, coming from someone who should know. I assume the baby powder is fairly inert and really wouldn't affect gunmetal in any meaningful kinda way? |
