I had a great time at the holster making session last night... I think this is slightly addicting
I will post pictures of my holster that I am working on once it starts to really come together. It's a IWB with an offset attachment system for my PPK. I learned that if you trace your design on paper backwards you also need to cut leather backwards or else you end up with a rough out holster... still not bad though. I managed to end up with a rough out even after pblark specifically pointed out that I had done it backwards. Oh well... I guess I just need to do another one... Darn
As I told the people that were there yesterday, I talked to Jim from www.thebeltman.net and he recommended that we use leather of higher quality than we used last night. Jim recommended Zack White leather Company... http://www.eleatherworks.com/home.php

Glad you had a good time and I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures on how it turned out.
I'll check out the links.

Ok... So the holster isn't quite done... but it's close. I still plan
on attatching one of comp-tac's v clips to it with two chicago
screws... but other than that I think it's just about done. I know I
did the stitching better on the inside, next to the pistol... I really have to work on
that.

Very good first attempt. I can't wait to see the clips on it.
Nice forming on that one. I hope to see you next time.
