Tick Slayer: Thank you, I need to get a few holsters 'under my belt' before I feel comfortable selling them. I still have a lot to learn. And yes, I dyed the leather myself.

MNBud,
I started a new thread titled 'Question on Molding'

Pinnacle,

Thanks, I think I am going to try one for my CZ-2075(RAMI) next.

thanks again everyone, :D

Welcome to the forum Bob...sweet looking holster.

To the posters on this thread. Once again you prove the class and character you have. I consider it an honour to be associated with you all on this board.
The appreciation might not go the other way, but thats OK

So thankyou.

Welcome to the forum Denver!

Nice looking leather rig. The dyeing and edging looks very good.

Couple of questions.
1. Did you hand stitch?
2. Did you use a top coat?

I have a similar background in engineering, wood working, sculptor and other things with my hands before I started making holsters.

Let plblark or myself know if you have any questions. We also should be having another holster making session in the near future. :)

Thanks Brit and Srigs,

Yes, hand stitching (saddle stitch). After dying, I just used a couple of coats of Kiwi shoe polish in neutral to polish it up and protect it.
I can't believe all the good info that I keep digging up here.

Thanks for such a great forum!

You're welcome; glad to have you on board. Any chance we can get some photos of the other side of the holsters?
