I would have left and let them try and tackle me. Turn the tables on them and have them arrested for assault and battery. |

"May I leave? (If no) Am I being detained? What law did I violate?" (Followed by a call to a lawyer...and a lawsuit for unlawful detention and whatever else would apply) |

If you aren't a cop, you aren't detaining me without getting one involved. -Mark |

This is also being discussed at slashdot. I think the incident shows how little the general public knows about dealing with police and private security. The guards who refill ATMs are by and large a bunch of paranoid fuckers. I had one grab the butt of his Glock the other day when I got on the same escalator with him on the way to work. I'm not that scary and wasn't armed. |

I totally agree that the Loomis goons and cops did a bad thing and should be slapped down for it. I hope he sues their asses off! That said, this guy is a left wing moonbat, judging by his T-shirts... http://theresistancearmy.com/shirts/1 "Meat is still murder, Dairy is still rape"? |

Oh, sure, he's a nutcase. Nutcases are still allowed to have cameras, and use them, though. |
