Never seen a dead cat in a tree, so why bother getting them down?

And if they were concerned about the cat being in the tree, wouldn't just using the fire hose be faster and safer?

Yeah, I always wondered why they bother. When it gets hungry, it'll come down.

It's for the birds safety... Well at least the birds without talons, and in those cases it for the cats saftey! :P
