Hello--
I put in my renewal 3 weeks ago today, and have yet to receive my new permit. Does anyone know if Mcleod sits on them as long as they can?
I'm just going off of when I initially got my permit in Kandiyohi county, I had it in 5 days. I know some of the metro counties are slow, but...I was hoping that Mcleod would be fairly quick on their turnaround.
Thanks!

And, it looks like it takes just over 21 days; I got it yesterday.

I got mine in 5 days.
It came before my pistol purchase permit (which took the city of Hutchinson 3 weeks). And that was with me in there in there a few times after day 7, giving them crap.
Of course, my circumstances were thus: I applied for my carry permit shortly before the election. Mark Taylor, apparantly, was the guy who handled my (everyone's?) carry permits, who just also happened to be running for sheriff. He lost to Scott Rehman, amidst much surprise, so I can only speculate as to whether or not Mr. Taylor is still handling carry permits. I would be very curious to know.
Who was it who wrote/signed the letter you received with your permit? Do you know if Mark is still in charge, with you receiving it after 21 days, or if Rehman has caused things to slow down over there?
