Hello all :D

I just moved to St. Paul from Oklahoma and look forward to learning what I can about carrying in Minnesota.

Thanks.

I've spent far too much time dealing with Oklahoma lately. (work thing)

Welcome!

mrokern-

I see the quote in your signature. I used to live in Norman.

Welcome. If you were happy with the OK carry law (and I don't see why not), you should like ours even more.

As a matter of fact it does. I am a former college trumpet instructor at a college in Indiana. I happen to be an Artist/Clinician for the Vincent Bach Company. I received my undergrad and masters degrees from OU in Norman, OK.

I have way too many trumpets to list :D

Oh yeah, you and I are going to get along well. 8)

I stopped playing a few years ago after college (not music entirely, just trumpet...kind of hit a burnout), but before that I was a very active player. Not near your level, but I could hold my own. I still remember making an accompanist have a panic attack when she realized that I was playing the Hindemith instead of the Hayden for a recital (she mixed me up with another client, and ended up having 1 week to learn the piece).

For that matter, junior year juries still come back to me in nightmares (Arutunian).
