Post subject: | Hi, I'm Lumpy |
Hello everyone. I've gone by "Lumpy" on various boards and BBS's (yes, old-time BBSs) for decades now. I live in Minneapolis (a five-minute drive from Bill's Gun Shop and Range in Robbinsdale), and I got my carry permit a year and a half ago. Recently I decided to see what sort of organizations are out there for permit holders and found TwinCitiesCarry. I'm interested in seeing what I and other permit holders can do to support and promote gun rights in Minnesota. Most recently the move in the state legislature to enact the "Stand Your Ground" bill made me aware that I ought to do more to support a cause that I strongly believe in. I own a .40cal Beretta Ninety-Two which I don't get to shoot nearly often enough and wish I could be a more active firearms owner (finances). |

I've taken a few days to look around the forums. A lot of the threads look interesting but some are years old. Should I revive a "zombie" thread, or start new threads on what may have already been discussed to death? Lumpy the Newbie |

Should I revive a "zombie" thread, or start new threads on what may have already been discussed to death? Lumpy the Newbie That's easy: yes. Either is fine, although I'd slightly prefer a new one. |
