A newby here, and was just recently referred to this forum by someone over at PDO--so glad you are here in the cities! Didn't know about you until then. Here is one newby's wish list for a ccw. Can some of you experts match this up with a gun?
1) Barrel length around 3"
2) Full size hand grip
3) Revolver
4) 9mm
5) Small and light enough to carry and conceal

I think Taurus might have some like this--would be interested to know your thoughts on those from anyone who has owned or shot them. Anyone else offering a gun that looks something like this? Thanks!

P.S. Price is important, of course, but not the first consideration by any means.

Close -- see the discussion about the Taurus 9mm, in the "Just This Side of Perfect" thread. Everything except for the 3" barrel. (Arguably, the stock grips aren't "full size", but aftermarket ones are available.)

Get the Pachmayr Compac Grips. This willgive you the feel of a full size handle.

http://www.pachmayr.com/pachmayr/index.htm

Keep in mind that this gun will be using moon clips to hold the ammo. If you carry a reload (which I feel should be done) the clips bend easy. After this point they might not work. A bad thing if you need the reload.

A K-frame snubby loaded with 38's might be something to think about. Low recoil, easy ammo availablity and a full size grip.
