Finally picked it up. New out of box the Loaded Chamber Indicator was non-functioning, finish was lacking and one of the supplied mags was obviously used.
Took it to the range and loved it. Mag release is a bit of a stretch on the left side to reach comfortably and I would prefer a short trigger but other than that it's great.
200 rounds no malfunction. It's just heavy enough to be conscious of it without being cumbersome even with two full mags.
Pleased with my purchase and will send it back for repair when I get something to take it's place while it's away.

I have a PT940 stainless and like it very much. The finish on mine is very good and I have not had one problem with it. I won it through a gun magazine raffle so the price was great too.

Get rid of those nickle plated sissy pistols, and get yourself a Glock.

Actually my PT940 is satin finish stainless steel and I carry a Glock 36.
The PT940 is often overlooked as a carry gun and I don't know why as it's a nice gun. It's a double stack .40 S&W and holds 10 rounds; it's easy to shoot and I've never had a problem with it. It is heavier than my Glock though. I carry the Glock because it's a little lighter and simple to shoot but I'm not as closed minded as some Glock owners. (a little dig back at you). :)
