Glock 26 with the pinky extender to get all your fingers on it, though I like mine better without it. OK some feel it's not a full size handle but it works for me just as well. But then for the same money you can get the 27 or 33 and add the other barrel to shoot both .40 and 357 rounds for another hundred dollars.
By the way has anyone tried the cheap .40 Cal Silver Bear ammo at the Sprotsman Guide?
Just wondering how well it works for practice. I clean after every shooting so the dirt may not be an issue.
Oscar.

Sig P239 DAK or Glock 19

+1 for both of these. I carry them both depending on my mood.

That being said, if I had to pick only one right now, I think my nod would go toward the Glock. As I said, I go back and forth between carrying both of these in CTAC IWBs. Right of the box they were both very accurate. As for function and finish though, I've had a little better experience with the Glock. The Sig already shows a little wear mark on the trigger guard from the CTAC and the slide and frame just seem more nick- or scratchable. The Glock's slide's finish seems impervious to anything and I never worry about scratching or in any way accidentally nicking it. The poly frame is hard, sturdy and very stable even if somebody once heard a story from his cousin about a guy's brother who saw another guy with a ruger who heard of a guy who owns a glock that was visiting their range who's glock's poly frame shattered into pieces when the guy's girlfriend dropped it on the concrete range floor. (Man, do these range myths bug the heck out of me.) Glock is cheaper by around $180 and holds at least 7 more rounds too. Plus, I think if you compare the two guns' specs, you see that the Glock is a tad bit lighter. The Glock is actually a little more comfortable for me in the CTAC too and is just as concealable even if the grip may be a slight bit wider/boxier.

Glock 27/33 is my favorite at this time but then I don't have any of those 1911 types yet.
I swear I don't see an end to this.
