Post subject:  New Custom Grips

I have been working on honing my skills on creating custom grips for my "pocket protector!!". This is my newest creation. They are made out of joined cherry and cocobolo woods. Over time the cherry will develop a little darker and redder patina.

Edit: added a pic with my pocket holster.

PocketProtector, if you ever get by Faribault, let me know. I got a cabinet shop there and always end up with alot of scraps that usually end up being fire wood. If your willing to pick it up, you can have any scraps that will work for grips. By the way, David Gross has a tree farm and sawmill, so he has some nice lumber available also that would work good for grips.

Pocket,

Let us know once you get settled. I have an HK P7 that I would love to have some wood grips for and I always want to support forum members when they have items to sell.
