After looking at and feeling all of the others I ended up back at what I wanted in the first place and decided On th Springfield Loaded 1911 A1. Luckely I already had ammo as they were out.
I think that I'm going to like this gun a WHOLE LOT.

Very nice!

I picked up a full size 1911 yesterday morning - fired it today - quite happy with it... I think you'll like yours too :)

Thanks - I should really have something engraved on it but I don't know what yet. Who is good at engraving around this area? :D

You will like it a bunch. I had the same gun with adjustable sights and it would put round after round through the same hole. I didn't like the FLG but not enough to change it out.
