Anybody know anything about Comanche revolvers? I've been looking for a 357 and ran across them on Gun Broker. They're cheap - they can be had for under $200, but I gotta wonder about the quality. Just this instant discovered they're basically Bersas. Maybe a good thing!

Any thoughts?

No, it isn't. The function and finish of the gun is everything you would expect from a $200 gun ... and less. Rough and pockmarked frames, rotten timing, end shake, and one of the worst revolver triggers I've ever felt.

For the money you should be able to find a decent used Taurus or Ruger.

The BERSA rep had one at one of the Bill's Shooter's Shows a while back. It was more crudely manufactured than those Russian motorcycles you like.

Made my AK-47 look like it was made by Ed Brown in comparison.

Thanks, guys! I'll scratch them off my list. Glad I asked - saved me making a big boo-boo!

Thanks again for the feedback! Instead of the Comanche, Dan Wesson will soon be at my house! Found a nice used Dan Wesson .357 chrome 4" revolver on Gun Broker and bought it. Hopefully, that will be a better choice!
