I bought several boxes of these at the same time and did not have any problem with them at all. Just this particular box.

I was very surprised at the dreaded click-no bang. I've only used these for practice, but it is still a reminder (to me at least) that anything can happen. Even thouh I was at the range shooting at paper it really bothered me.

Good Idea. I still have them and if I ever run across anyone with a puller I will certainly take a look.

Do this instead, call federal, they have a very very good customer service dept and talk to them you might find they are very interested in helping you out.

Years ago i had a batch of primers that were too soft and were pinholing at very moderate pressure levels. I called, and got really good service, not only did they replace the primers (with very generous overages,) but they also had repaired the two firearms that had breechface erosion from the gas leakages.


Its worth a call..
