The gunshops could do like they do at the jewlery stores. They women make out a list then the guy comes in & he knows what she's interested in in.
In this case the man could make a list(probably not to dificult) & it could serve as guide. They could even have something for them to eat & drink, just like the jewlery stores do.

Dont know if the magazine could cause a ejection failure... Still it was AWESOME!!! I

The look on my wifes face when I tell her what I bought.... Monday or tuesday. Priceless.

Wish me luck.

1) There was a recent 1911 Magazine Analysis which looked in detail at the different types of 1911 mags and their effects on jams and etc. IIRC he was dealing with burring of the slidelock. Also in that article was a link to a post regarding Controlled Feed Principles which was quite good.

The result is that 1911's rely more on proper magazines for the entire feed / extraction process than other guns do. Perhaps the feeding put the round at an odd place for the extractor or something ... something like manually inserting a round in the tube and dropping the slide would...

As to the look... I call that the "Chiropractor's bills after my wife sees the cost and I spend a week on the couch look"
