Just got my first 1911 through a trade, a series 70 blued Colt Combat Commander. Now I just need a holster for the beast.

There is no such thing as enough 1911's!

I have not been bitten by the 1911 sickness. I don't need to start stocking 45 not if there was a good 40S&W version that might be a different story :D

Used to be Kimber, Springfield, STI, and Para all made 1911's in .40 S&W. I don't know if they still do.

For sure Para does. You go from 14-45s to 16-40s.
