The Eagan Wal-Mart always lets me pay right at the ammo counter, bags it and I put it in my shopping cart. I am usually buying motor oil at the same time so when I check out I just leave the ammo in the cart in its bag and pay for the oil up front.

That is probably Store Policy, not Company Policy in Mankato.

He's wrong, and we have corporate emails to prove it. Do a search. :)

I purchased 200 rounds which were behind the counter, and hidden at the bottom of the glass display case at the Mankato Wal-Mart. The manager had to carry the boxes to the register, and then to the door. He handed me the bag OUTSIDE the store doors..... said it was company policy

It looks like Paul got a response from the store saying it wasn't corporate policy but no email response was posted in the forums (in my cursory search).

I'll corroborate this. It's nice not having to wait around for no one to come help you.

Same for me at the Maple Grove Wal-Mart.

Ramoel, you know you can put the oil in your cart and pay for all of it at the ammo counter.

Ammo at the hastings store is out in the open.
The ammo at the Apple valley store is behind the counter.
The A.V. store has the Winchester WB 40 Cal. hollow points for $11.00 a box of 50.
That's a great deal. Good write up's on it from what I've seen.

Wideners.com has the Federal XM40HB in .40 Cal for $230.00 a thousand plus shipping. Another good deal.

I'm glad to see the forum back up.

Oscar
