Finished detail stripping/cleaning/reassembling my recently-acquired battle rifle and began counting my 592 rds of mil surp ammo to make sure they're all there.

Now I just have to hope I can hold onto it for the next 4-8 years. Maybe an M1 Garand does not exude E-V-I-L like an EBR, but it is semi-automatic and the new Chief doesn't like those. It also has an evil bayonet mount, and can shoot evil armor-piercing bullets.

Boiled linseed oil can be slippery. I sure hope I don't drop my gun in the lake.
