I guess if the simultaneous murders of 30-some people can't bring about an effective policy change, it's hard to expect one will result in any good changes.

Maybe someday market forces will punish head-in-the-sand schools through lower enrollment. Safety-minded students could gravitate toward schools that allow carry. I wonder what kind of numbers would be needed for critical mass. Tuition is big $$$ these days. I suppose the state schools get quite a bit regardless of enrollment, so maybe the private schools would have to change first.

Here's hoping they finally get it right and shut down all the knife stores in VA. and start a big lawsuit against the store that sold the knife! :wink:
