be advised that the windshield wiper fluid they sell down there may freeze at 32F...
Luckily the tank in my car had a mix of the good stuff, but the leftover still in the bottle froze hard as a rock.

Advice from a truck driver that goes all over the country in the winter months............
1. Buy that purple (or orange) stuff that's good to MINUS 32 degrees and fill you washer fluid reservoir BEFORE you leave out on a trip down south. Put an extra jug in the trunk!
2. If it even thinks about snowing while you're there, get the f*** off the roads!!! The idiots down there do not know how (nor can they even attempt to know) drive on snow/ice covered roads! Get a motel room A.S.AP.!!!

I carry a jug of the orange stuff by RainX. Works like a charm and also I don't have to buy anything 'extra' to add to the washer fluid.

It appears to me that the majority of "Quick Oil Change" places in the Twin Cities use windshield washer fluid that is guaranteed to freeze solid at 38°F during the months of November through April. Fill your reservoir BEFORE you get your oil changed.
