Welcome. Don't mind plblark, he's very unfaithful to his own favorite carry weapon.

If I named myself after my carry gun, no one would ever know who I was ... It's kind of a flavor of the week thing for me.
Oh look, SHINY

Pea shooter? j/k
Anyways.............Welcome aboard para45lda.
There's a world of info to be found here, thanks to those that devote a great part of their lives to 'carry issues' and those that practice daily carry on a daily basis.

Squeeze trigger, BANG, repeat. Kind of boring, but I never cared for drama.

Yup. And my hat's off to the moderator staff, who help keep things going with a very light hand, almost all of the time -- which, considering the quality of the membership here, is obviously the only way that make sense.

I've been trying to talk myself from sub-compact double-stacked .45 striker-fired carry gun into a 1911 variant. Logic won't let me, and it sucks!

I was thinking of a guy whose nick ends in G19 who is looking into 1911's now and recently sold his G19
Of course, when I first started, the XD-9 was my dream gun. I've owned a couple and sold them both because my needs and tastes had changed.
Welcome to our new member, I was just lightly teasing.
It could even be jealousy since that gun is on my someday list

I love my Kimbers, and would really, really like to justify a Bobtail. But . . .

yeah i've shot alot of diffrent style of guns and i've always liked the 1911 style and para ( as far as i know ) is the only 1911 maker with a double stack frame which i also enjoy the larger framed guns. the para that i have is the tac-four and with the m-tac holster from comp-tac.com the gun doesnt print at all in a plane t-shirt
