Which is why I said I hope he sues their asses off!

And then donates the money to the NRA
If I did one of those "fixed it for ya's" -- and I really don't -- I'd make that <s>NRA</s> GOCRA.

Call it a hunch, but I think Greenpeace would be more up his alley.

We need to combine his t-shirt with Tamara's slogan:

Meat is still murder --- tasty, tasty murder!

If God didn't mean for us to eat animals, why did he make them out of meat?

If God didn't mean for us to eat animals, why did he make them out of delicious meat?

I was going to drift the thread this way, but got distracted. Here's what I was going to say:

If God or evolution or some combination thereof didn't intend for us to eat meat, why do we have these sharp pointy teeth called "canines" in our mouths? We are only following our nature.

Well, the Vegans I know claim we should be transcending our primitive natures.

Me, I'll stick to reasonable amounts of tasty murder!

Didn't Gordon Ramsay throw some vegetarians out of one of his restaurants a few years ago?

Warning...Thread drift!

Don't get me wrong, I've got nothing against vegetarians or vegans, it can be a healthy choice and good for the environment too, if done intelligently. It is quite a bit of work to get a balanced diet with those choices. I also don't care if they do it for health or ethical reasons, there are good arguments for both.

What I do object to is the bozos that get sanctimonious or preachy about it and try to force it (or anything else) on the rest of us.

YMMV and that's OK too!

Those are the folks that would make me resort to cannibalism, if they weren't so stringy and tough.

Vegetarian once removed. Cow eats the vegetation and I eat the cow.

What is a cow, but concentrated grass?

I'd say you were even more of a vegetarian.

There's an episode of King of the Hill where Hank is at the buffet getting chops, steak, ribs, fish, chicken, etc. when Peg tells him he needs to have some veggies. He frowns, lowers his head and begrudgingly takes a scoop of mac-n-cheese.
