Huh, I didn't know OP stood for Order of Preachers...

....although now I'm a little confused why things have gotten all religious on this board lately!

Well, not only is the site owner a licensed minister (really!), but a lay preacher in COTAR.

I haven't registered with the state, yet, as Steve Brust has done the couple of weddings I really wanted to, and appropriately had dibs.

The easy way to register is to perform a ceremony. When the couple submits the marriage license and the county doesn't see your name, they'll contact you. You send your credentials in, they send you a receipt with the location of the filing (Book x, Page Y).

Ok so everytime someone uses the OP acronym, we know they are referring to Joel and princewally.

I have a feeling you two are getting blamed for an awful lot!

Order of Preachers = Dominicans (Who are completely celibate and I have met both Joel's and Wally's wives. I am quite certain neither of them are Dominicans.)

I'll have to keep this in mind if I find myself in need of one. Tell you the truth, I wish I'd known it last fall...

I split this off from the Newbie thread just so we don't dazzle them with our brilliance right out of the chute.

I am guilty of de-railing the thread too. Mea Culpa.
