So says city hall on this mornings front page of the Red Star.

Think they're starting to panic that all this crime will keep the people with spending money out of there, now that they've gone and spent all that to make it "nice"?

yesterday at 4:15pm, I drove around Block E to pick someone up. Funny coincidence: There was a Channel 5 truck set up to broadcast on 6th street between 1st nd Hennepin. Oddly enough, there were ~8 officers standing near hennepin on 5th Street who appeared to be taking turns walking around the block. I circled 3 times waiting for my passenger and sw 3 pairs walking around...

YEAHHHH....

It's still inside the 494-694 beltway, so by definition is NOT safe. But then I'm just a country boy driving through the big city... :)
