Today a woman should have turned 80 years old. She should have lived a full life with the love and companionship of friends and family, and should currently be enjoying the later years of her life.

She never got that chance. Never got to grow to adulthood, never got to experience things that we take for granted, all due to a tyrannical government who felt her and her family were no better than cattle.

Today, her birthday, should remind all of us why we need to stand up for our belief in freedom, why we need to be ready to meet challenges to that freedom with words and force, and why we must never become sheep.
