Looks like a bad time to be in showbusiness...

Alternately, maybe a blood vessel somewhere couldn't handle all that peppiness.

Have any of you pondered that the coincidental close timing might not be a coincidence at all? They might have been the same guy.

I did hear that one of the paramedics that worked on Michael Jackson nearly died himself. Apparently he overworked himself performing CPR. He tried as mightly as he could to get come color back into Jackson's complexion.

This is the one death that has actually kinda hit me. Billy Mays was the man. He was a real American hero.

All the other ones didn't bother me at all. This one hurts some.

Same here. I was just watching an episode of picthman a few nights prior to him passing that had one of his children involved with a ad shoot. Billy Mays seemed like a good person.

You know what it really was for me? In the numerous interviews I've seen, he could laugh at himself. That shows a genuine humility that none of the other celebs hardly ever showed. I just watched the 90 minute "Farrah's Story" and it was really disappointing how shallow she was. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised.

Autopsy Shows Cocaine Contributed to Billy Mays' Death
Friday, August 07, 2009
TAMPA, Fla. — DEVELOPING: An autopsy report says cocaine contributed to the death of TV pitchman Billy Mays.

The 50-year bearded TV personality died of a heart attack in his sleep. His wife found him unresponsive June 28 at their condo in Tampa, Fla.

A release from the Hillsborough County medical examiner's office Friday said Mays had last used cocaine days before his death.

The report said that although Mays died from heart disease, cocaine use was a contributing cause of death.

 Billy Mays. I just saw the "Jupiter Jack" ad recently. Not too surprised, though... something had to get him that amped up for those commercials! Long live "The Ding King" :!:
