That military coup thing seemed to work pretty well in Honduras. I'm not suggesting anything, just want to make sure everyone is paying attention.

At least one of us is. However, the way I look at it, the military, legislature, and Supreme Court were preventing a coup by Zelaya. He had decided that he didn't like the rules in the current Constitution that limited him to one term, and took it unto himself to change it so that he could stay in power. The military, acting under orders from the rest of the legitimate government, arrested him and sent him out of the country in accordance with the laws of the land.

The thing that scares me is that our government is siding with Zelaya, the very man who was trying to find an extra-constitutional way to keep himself in charge. We tried very hard to avoid meddling in the affairs of Iran, but we sure as hell jumped right into the middle of Honduran politics, and on the wrong side at that. Where is our moral leadership in the world now? Isn't that what hope and change was all about?

Damn, Scott...keep talking that reasonable, they're going to wonder if you are too sane to be an officer.
