Is anyone here familiar with Hudson? I ask because in a couple weeks, my family and two other families will be passing thru there and we are in need of a place to stop for the night.

The catch is that we're all hauling horses -- 11 in all. So we're looking for a fairgrounds or sale barn, or someplace where we can park pickups with horse trailers and the horses can get out of the trailers for the night. It's fine if they have to stand tied to the trailer all night, but not on cement or asphault. Preference is a fairgrounds or similar facility that has outdoor corrals of some sort to give the horses some relief from the long trip -- or a small secure pasture area. It'll be a short stay -- 10 or so at night til 7 or so the next morning.

Any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated.

There is a spot off exit 4 on the east side of Hudson it's part of a motel parking lot that has a few truckers parking overnight and a fair bit of grass next to the lot. An old boss has his impound lot over there also and owns several acres behind the motel. If you want give him a call at 715 386 3233 his name is Dave Alwin. I suspect he wouldn't have any problem with you parking overnight and grazing the horses.
Alternatively if you turned right instead of left at the top of exit 4 and went down to County Road N I believe there is an old horse ring off to the left. (I think but can't remember for sure) HTH
