The antithesis of Sheriff Taylor of Mayberry, the inimitable Sheriff Fletcher of Ramsey County, appears to be unstoppable once again. I have given to the Bostrom campaign, but I see few signs and no statements, press releases or other bits of information coming from that corner.
Fletcher, who seems to thrive on skirting the letter of the law (placing campaign signs on vacant properties, in violation of regulations requiring the express authorization of the homeowner/tenant - then saying he will take them down if the homeowner/tenant complains
) appears poised to remain at the helm. At least this year he probably will not need anyone shooting up his campaign headquarters so that he can claim that he is the "victim".I apologize to any who might have made it this far. I am simply venting.
