I think the avatar is funny, I certainly don't think it's in poor taste or anything.
EDIT- Just so we are clear, you are referring to the animated smoking kid who looks all stressed out? Avatars change on all previous posts, when you change avatars.
It's better then the image you had as your signature. That was annoyingly large.

Great. Less than a week after I changed mine to this one... Oh well. No problem, I change mine around frequently anyway!
