RSC is a private gun club accepting new members.

We are about a 100 acre facility with a 300 yard rifle range, Running Deer target, Archery, Trap, Pistol and Black powder range.

Membership is $35 per year and gets you access for immediate family members as well. (spouses and children).

Members have access to a club house with running water and a kitchen. This is available for rent for special events.

Well worth 35.00. If I were closer I would sign up in a heartbeat.

Do they frown on pistol people? Or are they accepting of "diversity"?

Currently right now, There are three regular occurring events,

Trap league
Military Service Rifle League. We shoot every Wednesday night at 6:30 starting May 2nd
Monthly pistol classes. I have these scheduled through the end of the year.

We are hoping to add more to the pistol range to include more steel targets for organized events and such.

We are also able to drive directly to the firing line. As I have my permit, I have had the chance to work around my vehicle with shooting. Behind doors, inside from the drivers seat etc.

Our biggest rule is that you be safe with what you do. Be it a .17 HMR revolver to a 12 lb howitzer.

Look at it this way.

Each time you took a Defensive handgun course, and yes, they could get increasingly more difficult, after three classes, the range membership would be paid for.

Would you be willing to come out two more times this year?

The club has several ranges. The Pistol range can be as long as about 100 yards.

The rifle range has a 100, 200 and 300 yard firing points. There are 8 target holders for the rifles on these points. From the 100 yard firing line, you can also fire at 25 yards as well as 50 yards.

There is also a Black powder range as well that can be as long as 100 yards also.

To the north of all of this, is an archery range. This can go out to about 100 yards also and has a tree stand as well that is permanent.

There is also a club house that is available with a patio for rent to anyone, club members or not.

The club house has a kitchen with grill and running water and a bathroom.
