There are a number of participants in this forum who are members of OGC. Why are they not responding?

Don't know.

Why do you feel the need to make a list?

If Oakdale is anything like Post 435 30 to 50 members, out of 500 or so, do 99% of the work.

It's called the 90 - 10 rule.

10% of the members do 90% of the work. :( :( :( :( :(

On the other hand, everyone has to do two days of range duty per year.

Mine are Monday and Tuesday, trying to keep deer hunters from shooting each other, doing sight-in for deer season.

We are on the front page of the Trib this morning too!

I agree with all the other posters. I am an officer and on the B.O.D. of a private club. Many of our members make only the minimum required contribution. A small percentage of the membership carries the bulk of the burden in operating the club. What's worse some of those that have the greatest expectations of the club are those that contribute the least.

Just catching up and saw this.

I'm a 1st year member, but I've been active at Oakdale for about 10 years.

It's more like the 10-80-10 Rule. Ten percent of the members actually do most of the work, eighty percent do just the absolute minimum they have to do to get by, and ten percent actually make more work for others than they succeed in doing themselves.
